​Set Up Recurring Deposit in Interactive Brokers App

​This article will give you easy-to-follow instructions on how you can set up a recurring deposit in the Interactive Brokers app.

  • Open the Interactive Brokers app on your iPhone.
  • Once the app is opened, you will see several icons at the bottom, including an icon with three stacked horizontal lines labeled as More.
  • Tap on More.
  • If you scroll down on the screen, you will see an option saying Transfer & Pay.
  • Tap on Transfer & Pay.
  • Under Transfer & Pay, tap on the icon labeled as Deposit Funds.
  • You may have to enter your password. Once you have entered your password, tap on Ok.
  • After you have entered your password, you again have to tap on the More icon.
  • Once you tap on the More icon, it will take you back to the Transfer & Pay screen.
  • Under Transfer & Pay, tap on Deposit Funds once again.
  • If you would like to choose a particular bank, tap on Select under that particular bank.
  • After you have selected a particular bank, type in the recurring deposit amount on the screen.
  • Once you have typed in the deposit amount, select whether you want it to be a recurring transaction or not by tapping on Yes or No.
  • After you have chosen Yes or No, type in a recurring transaction name. You can name it with a monthly investment or any name you want to use on that transaction.
  • Afterward, choose a frequency by tapping on the drop-down next to Frequency, and then select your investment frequency.
  • You can choose your start date if you want to by tapping on the drop-down next to Start Date.
  • Once you have selected the date, tap on Done.
  • You will be shown a message explaining how an ACH works, and it will also show you the Trading Hold and Debit Card Hold. If you are okay with everything, tap on Create Deposit at the bottom.
  • Review your transaction details and if everything is correct, confirm the ACH Deposit by entering your user ID and password.
  • Once you have entered your user ID and password, tap on Confirm Deposit.
