How to Create a Stash Account

​Please follow the steps below to create or sign up a stash account.
​
  • If you don’t have a stash account, we will put a link in the description below for you to sign up and it will give you $20 for signing up using our affiliate link. You will get it after signing up and funding your account.
  • Once you click on the referral link you will be directed to the page. To continue, click on the button that says Get $20 of Stock.
  • And now enter the email and password you wish to use. Make sure to enter a valid email address. Then click on the Create Account button.
  • After that, you will see a Start button on the page. Click on Start.
  • There, enter your full legal name. On the first field, enter your first name. Then enter your last name on the second field. Then click on Continue.
  • Now, enter your phone number. Then click on Continue.
  • Once you entered your residential address, review it and confirm by clicking the Confirm button.
  • Then select your estimated pre-tax household income.
  • On the page, you will be asked what areas do you most want to grow. Do there are several options provided. Click on the options you wish to select. Then click on Continue.
  • After that, pick a plan. Click on the Pick My Plan button. The click on Continue. Here, you will see the plan they offer. For your first month they have it covered, so just select on the plan available. To select, click on the button that says try one month on us under the plan you wish to use. Note that you can also switch or cancel at any time.
  • Now you have to confirm your eligibility to invest. Enter your birthday on the first field, then select your citizenship on the second field. Then set up your payment. On the first field, enter your name on card. Then on the second field, enter your card number. On the remaining fields, enter your further card details and ZIP code. Then, click on Confirm.
  • Now review your plan details. After reviewing, click on Continue.
  • On the page, you will see their advisory agreement. Read and review the agreement. Then click on Accept.
  • And now set up your investor profile. To setup, click on Continue.
  • Then click on the Start button.
  • Here, they will ask you What’s your employment status. Click on the option applicable to your employment status.
  • Then, select your estimated net worth. Then select your tax filing status for this year whether you are Single; Head of Household; Widowed; Married that is Filing Separately, or Married that is Filing Together.
  • Next, you will be asked if you’re currently saving for retirement. Click on the option applicable for you. Then it will ask you, How have you paid bills over the year? Click on the option applicable to you. If you’re wondering why they are asking those questions, click on the blue text that says Why we need this.
  • Now select the option applicable that answers the question on the page. Then the next question will ask you, How did your total spending compare to total income over the past year? Click on the option applicable to you. Now, click on the option that shows how confident that you are working to meet your long -term financial goals. You can choose from very confident, moderately confident, somewhat confident, slightly confident, or not at all confident.
  • And lastly, it will ask you if you have experience investing. Click on the option whether you have no experience, know a little about investing done a fair share of investing or have extensive experience.
  • Now this question will assess your investment risk. Choose by moving the slider to the option you wish to select. Then, click on Continue.
  • Now you will be asked another question when you need to take out any money you decide to invest. Click on the option you wish to select.
  • Then here, several situations were provided. You will be asked if any of those situations applies to you. Click on the option applicable to you. Then click on Continue.
  • Now secure your account. Click on the Start button to continue.
  • Here, enter your SSN or social security number. Then click on Continue.
  • So, this question is about your retirement planning. You can choose to select the Traditional Individual Retirement (IR) Account or Roth Retirement Account. Lastly, read the agreements related to your account. After reading, click on the tick boxes. Then click on the Agree and Continue button.
  • And now your stash account has been created.
