​​Delete a payment method from Grubhub app on your iPhone

I don't like my credit card information to be stored on any app for a long time so I delete my credit card information from most of the apps especially when the credit limit on that particular card is high and also if a card is stored on a particular app, sometimes I tend to make impulse purchases. It gives me peace of mind when I know that my credit card information is not stored anywhere even if it's considered a secure website. May be it's just me! I don't know. Like the same way I periodically remove my credit card details from other apps, I wanted to remove it from Grubhub also and for some reason it took me quiet a bit of time to figure out how to remove an existing payment method from Grubhub app on an iPhone. So I thought it would be helpful for others if I write an article explaining the step by step process to remove an existing credit card from Grubhub app on an iPhone. Let's dive right in.

In order to remove an existing credit card from Grubhub app, please follow the steps mentioned below:

• Open the Grubhub app on your iPhone.
• At the very bottom, you will see 4 options:

1. Restaurants
2. My Grubhub
3. Perks
4. Bag

• Select the second option - My Grubhub
• Tap My Grubhub
• On the very upper right, you will see a Gear icon.
• Tap on the Gear icon.
• Once you tap the Gear icon, you will see a Settings screen.
• On the Settings screen, tap Payment.
• You will see a list of your existing cards that were previously added to Grubhub.
• Swipe left on the particular card you would like to remove.
• Tap Delete to remove the card.
